I'm calling this "Project: ECHO" (Everybody Comes to Help Out). It seems to fit for some reason.
Thanks for reading, guys! It really makes my heart hurt to see people going through life like this and I want to help them, but I can't do it on my own. That's where you all come in, so thanks again for helping me - well, us!
Last March, I finally got help for my depression and anxiety problems by talking to my mother about how I felt. She contacted a counselor - not the school kind, mind you - and got me an appointment. I want to thank Denise and Jamie for helping me out over the past year! You ladies are awesome!
The family member I talked about was my cousin, Melissa E. Bush. I was only 5 at the time, but it still hit me hard. As a surprise, I am going to tell my family about this project on August 6th, 2012. I'm sure that they will appreciate your aid to people like Melissa.
What I want you to do is comment about who you found, when you discovered their problem, and what you did to help. Past stories are great, too! I would love to learn about what you did to assist people on need!
If you are a former sufferer or are currently suffering from depression, anxiety, self-harm, starving yourself, or if you have suicidal urges, then GET HELP AS SOON AS YOU CAN! You can shine, no matter what people tell you!
If you can, then tell me your story as well. Post it in the comments or, if you don't want too many people to read it, send me a note.
Thank you again, and talk to you later! Bye!
